First of all, we would like to thank all the donors of the historically first peace forum in Slovakia very nicely for every single contribution – we appreciate it very much!
The organization of such an event is a relatively demanding process not only in terms of financial, but also in terms of time and capacity (personnel). From a financial point of view, we certainly do not need hundreds of thousands, as in the case of other security conferences – to cover basic expenses 1. however, we will need at least 5,000 euros for the introductory year – by July 2021 at the latest, so that we can definitively reserve conference facilities, including refreshments for participants and accommodation, especially for foreign guests.
If a higher amount is collected, we will also be able to organize an interesting accompanying program within the concept of the “Peace Festival”, whose mission is to create space for adults, children and youth to celebrate peace, solidarity, friendship, understanding, dialogue and respect for diversity. Our goal is to organize a peace forum together with other accompanying activities (concerts, exhibitions, competitions and games for children, etc.) in Slovakia every year, to raise Bratislava as a city of peace and as a space suitable for mediation of international conflicts and to spread education and its education. winning for the ideas of a peace movement, a culture of peace, non-violence, the elimination of weapons and friendly cooperation between all countries.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ASSISTING THE ORGANIZATION OF THE EVENT, PLEASE DO YOU WRITE TO EMAIL: ikompisova@gmail.com . There will be a need for coordinators at the venue, as well as video or audio technicians, etc.
Of course, we will be grateful for sponsorship in the form of securing office items with the possibility of printing the logo of the United Peace (pens, notebooks, bags, banners). Slovak companies / start-ups that are interested in presenting their products or otherwise contributing to the successful organization of this historically first peace event in Slovakia are also welcome in this regard.
Thank you very much once again to all the supporters!
